A bit boyish, in my opinion. But solid, fun sci-fi read. Love the inclusion of Eastern culture. The recent film is a fantastic adaptation. Can't wait for the next one.
Short, fun read. Still haven't seen the film. The characters pop and the writing is invigorating especially for the time period. Holly is pretty much an awful whore and Paul is a modern cuck but it makes for a charming dynamic. I'd call it a must-read due to the length. Side note: His short story "A Christmas Memory" is also a must-read. I will be reading it to my future children every holiday season. And likely baking at least a few treats in homage ;)
